Family with Young Children
Nice enough, but not many extras included with the luxury price tag. Extra charge for internet, $15.99 per use - valet parking was $51 for overnight - self parking available nearby for $30, but not too convenient - no pool - couldn't find the in-room coffee maker (hidden in a cabinet under the TV). My car was lost in valet. Due to the hotel making the mistake, they were not willing to take off the entire valet charge. I waited almost 2 hours for my car. It seemed that no one knew what they were doing. ...read more

Solo Traveler
Hotel was nice. Customer service was not nice however. There was a deposit that was taken upon use of Debt Card that was never returned. Even when speaking with 3/4 people they lost the deposit somehow and said that they had already released it. This service at this nice of a hotel is Unacceptable! ...read more

Group Traveler
Our group of 12 Chicago visitors have spent the day after Christmas to the day before New Year's Eve in great hotels near the loop. The Chicago Fairmont is super clean, super friendly, and close either by foot or by cab to everything we wanted to get to. The recreation space is very good. Not one complaint was heard except for "NO pool??!!" My two grandsons had to stay in with grandparents one night and room service made a big hit! ...read more
